You should play sh1 next.
Everyone is Speaking about silent hill, to be honest i've never played it. Maybe it's time to consider.

It has probably the most renowned music in a horror game. In my CS, I put in only custom music from Silent Hill and it got much better reactions than if I had just stuck with Amnesia's soundtrack.

Though Mikko Tarmia is still extremely impressive.

on monday there was a bomb threat at my school and we sat out of class for an hour before getting released from school 50 minutes late. The day after there was another in the middle of the school day causing lunches to be delayed, they ran till the very end of the day and we got released from the lunchroom. Another the day after the next just causing us to lose a period of class. and another yesterday causing us to again, sit outside and wait for the building to be cleared (The EoD and FBI showed up this time) then we could leave, an hour late.

Indeed, his music fits better to horror than Jessica Curry, the composer of
aamfp, not saying her pieces aren't good, but Tarmias pieces are just more terrifying. I didn't get that heartbeat raising feeling from aamfp sountracks. Maybe they were too melodic for it's genre, IMO.

I have also hear and read something positive about Silent Hils plot,
That's totally something which could lure me to it's world.

any exams? there were 2 false bomb reports on the philosophy university, which happened to be false and by a student just because of an exam that day.

...Although, you're from America, so that makes it different imo xD

Don't expect the same type of horror as Amnesia though. SH games have combat and are more disturbing than terrifying. SH3 in particular has a whole ton of disturbing imagery, like a hospital with pulsating walls, whereas Amnesia goes more for realism with its traditional dark castle environment.

I can't be the only one that finds it really hard to play old games anymore.

Graphics are so ugly and gameplay/controls so clunky.

RE: Random Stuff

I love old games. Reminds me of my childhood, and reflects on how far I have come in terms of the way I do things in them.
