SSAO and paralax - what is processing them?
Hi everyone, i think this question is targeted to dev team... As in subject, what and how is processing parallax and ssao in this awesome game?

I wonder why setting high values for these effects is making game unplayable also with powerful rigs.

Interesting finding: i can set ssao samples even higher then 8k but setting over 16k is giving an ingame error. :-) Of course for normal usage i'm not setting this effect to so high values ;-)

SSAO is very demanding according to the devs (and a little bit useless) so just turn it off or lower. At good graphics card is doesn't cause a single problem.

SSAO is not useless, but it's very demanding so you might keep it a bit lower.
