RE: Many Hands - A Community Mapping Project

Well, folks, I had a busier day than anticipated: I had to help my dad move a bunch of furniture, and I ended up going to a cookout and having a few beers. I ended up only having 3 hours out of my 8 to work with this, so I didn't get a lot done. Anyways, here's what I did get done. As someone said earlier, transitioning out of the dungeonbase set would have been preferential, and I am presenting an opportunity to use Mansionbase. I was thinking the area(s) after this would be like the library in vanilla Amnesia, except instead of sunlight coming through the windows there would be crumbled rocks, as the player explores an underground and dusty mansion. These pictures are just of the tunnel from the sewers to the door into the mansion.

You should leave it at 9, since you're altering what already exists, rather than adding anything new.

By the way, my night opened up, and since I didn't get to use all 8 of my hours, I want to do more when it's available again. WIWWM, when you're done, can you PM me your map please? Smile

You are my hero.

But seriously, this makes me very happy.

Also, what is vanilla Amnesia? I'm assuming you're talking about the original but... why vanilla when chocolate is just so delicious?

That is awesome I must say, and the idea to have a derelict underground abandoned mansion is an awesome idea!!

Since I made Kiandra so happy and people seem to like the idea of a derelict mansion underground, I'm gonna let whoever wants it to take it over. That and the fact that I have an 8 hour shift in two hours Tongue

RE: Many Hands - A Community Mapping Project

Hey everyone, I went through the most recent areas and I fixed them up. I noticed when I played through what WIWWM made, he had accidentally allowed the ceiling in his area to clip up through Khyrpa's and Kiandra's areas, bugging out the doors and the floor hatch. What I did was move them lower and patch up some seams in the ceiling so the hatch fits, and so none of the doors bug out. That's all I did in this area; I also changed the hollow ambience sound in my cave/tunnel, because it was playing all throughout the map, which was annoying. Anyone who is going to edit the map again, use this version. Smile
