Sadly, Frictional is a small team and supporting 3 OSes, about 4 different release avenues, and at least 5 language means there are 12 released games each with localizations to test and verify, all for a team of a half dozen working with 3 publishers to release a patch while also working on their new game.

Yea, in my experience, smaller companies will usually provide great service, but they take time, because they are small, a little patience is not too much to ask for people.
