RE: Program to create nice Trailers?

I want something simple with some basic stuff to make simple trailers for EtD when needed. Something more than the useless Windows Movie Maker that I was using lately. I convert fraps raw video files using an Xvid codec which makes the size very smaller.

I use Adobe Premier... may be a bit more than what you're looking for though.

Yeah, due to its ease of use and features. Most of my Youtube videos were edited in AVS Video Editor. However, if you want something free with slightly more features than Windows Movie Maker, then you may want to try out Windows Live Movie Maker.

yes, Windows Live Movie Maker - that's what I mean. I have Windows 7 so only the live one can be installed. It doesn't have enough things so AVS it is.

I also found this blog from Thomas which is a little-bit old but it gives an idea:

I've tried all of those listed there in the past, and they were either lacking in features or crashed on me every chance they got. The only one that i have found for Linux that did not crash on me and was actually pretty easy to use and had some of the features i was looking for was OpenShot video editor. It is pretty new compared to the other ones, but i would definitely place it as number 1 for Linux video editors.

RE: Program to create nice Trailers?

well now that Tanshaydar won at one of three parts of the competition, as he promised, he will make a new trailer and I think with AVS Video Editor. So, maybe he can tell us whether he finds it easy to use. He is looking for the same editor like me. Something more than Windows Live Movie Maker but less than Sony Vegas Studio etc...

Exclamation  Shuttered textures in converted models

Guys, what does the image below mean? It happens sometimes when I convert models to Amnesia (not Penumbra ones of course):

Spoiler below!

ModelEditor does not report any bad normals for this specific one as I recall.

How can I do this in Blender 2.59? I know how to do it in Blender 2.49 but it cannot export the model afterwards. Only 2.59 can.
