I do not watch this shit, I do not want to ruin it by spoilers!

I don't really care that he's got it, but holy crap, DON'T REVEAL SPOILERS two weeks before release. Why include scenes with the monster in full view? Cut away ffs. But oh wait, it's PewDiePie, the word integrity has no meaning to him.
Well it's still 2 weeks and 2 days until the release... What shall we do from now on?
Spoilers would have been out in 2 weeks anyways.
At least is was just a montage and not like a first 5 minutes game play. I wonder what Markiplier will do...

Why am I getting this overwhelming feeling of disappointment...
I have nothing against him receiving the game beforehand. However, I do have a problem with him showing it some 2 weeks before release. A couple of days would be okay, but 2 weeks is just to much. The hype will go up these 2-3 days and then go down.

What I think PDP should've done is in the beginning of the video would be to put a message with something like "This video contains footage which may spoil your experience of playing the game. You have been warned" and then a 5 sec pause.

I only watched the first 10 seconds before my senses caught up with me and turned it off.
80% or more of ATDD sales were due to the many YouTube videos of lets plays and scary moment montages. In about 3 weeks there will be hundreds of AAMFP videos and probably lots of people from this board are going to view them. It was going to happen regardless, kind of dumb that its 2 weeks early though.

If I interpret what you're saying when you say: "Spoilers would have been out in 2 weeks anyways."

They wouldn't be spoilers because so many players would have got to experience it for themselves first hand! I didn't watch PDP video; instead, I accidentally found an image of the monster in clear view while I was searching for something completely unrelated on DeviantART.

His video title says 'scary moments' and it is a huge spoiler to show off how the encounters work and how you deal with the situation, the encounters are a huge part of this game and to know when to expect them is one hell of a big spoiler - even if it's just a couple of encounters.

The point of not revealing this footage is to give passionate players like myself a fear of the unknown and now I have an idea of what I'm up against. Nearly 2 years of not knowing what to expect and then BAM! 2 weeks before release and I have already seen a glimpse of the enemy I wanted to encounter on my own, that's really disappointing!
It's typical of him to blunder straight into the monster like that. I've always thought he oversteps the mark just a little with his "style" of play. Running everywhere and crudely flicking his mouse around at maximum sensitivity. I'm not sure if he is acting on some kind of obligation to entertain his fans with comedy or whether he just has a short attention span...but it makes for very uncomfortable viewing.

Also, if they were capable of setting limits on how much he is allowed to show, then why not forbid him from revealing the monster also?

You're doing a good job pulling numbers out of your ass there.

I don't know why but it sure made me laugh when you mentioned the word ''pulling'' (BLANK) ''out of your ass''
