I've seen a few threads about this problem, but I could'nt find them helpful. I installed Amnesia through steam and ran it today and it runs on my computer great.

One problem it does not save, and the Amnesia folder in My Documents is not created, When I had the demo everything worked fine.

I have tried re-installing 4 times, unchecking read only on the steamapps folder, looking for blocks on my computer, running as an administrator, and making an Amnesia folder, I get the feeling that Steam is the problem, I'm not sure though, I've tried a lot of things and am out of ideas. Do I need the actual installation file? Has anyone gotten Amnesia to work on steam properly?

Any help would be very helpful Smile

I'm running Windows Vista 64 bit
Attach us here the file hpl.log found under Documents\Amnesia\Main folder

No, I don't mean if you have admin rights or not, I mean Administrator account. Your account name is Administrator?

I hope that helps:[attachment=1747]

It needs some work to enable this account. A cmd command. Tan search it if you can. Maybe the folder is created at the virtualstore folder? It is located at users\-your-user-name-\local or something. I cannot verify it from my mobile though...
I could not find the administrator account on there
