There are both dead pigs and body pieces floating in the "water" in the bilge, So I guess he must have mistaken one of those for a dead servant grunt. Then again at the same time it is strange that there is actually a servant_grunt stored in the game folder, but not a brute, hinting at that it was not just having forgotten to remove it, or at the very least that it must have been used in some way during testing.
