This is COD: Ghost by the way.

Gotta say when I saw the trailer this morning it took me some time to realize that it was next-gen footage I was watching.

Thing is the only thing that has gone up is their specs but otherwise their art/tech team seems to be doing everything the same as allways, just with less limits so their can have highres textures and lots of polys.

RE: Screenshot criticism thread

I don't play COD, so I don't know much about it. But to my understanding it's developed with the xbox in mind, therefore "setting back the standards" of how it potentially could be if developed for the PC. That doesn't excuse the poorly executed light rays, but eh.. artistic choice by them possibly :]

While on the topic of "next-gen":

Watch in 1080p.
This is real-time ~ that's how games developed for the PC will look Big Grin

Sorry for off-topic.

Should I move the candle somewhere else or what?

RE: Screenshot criticism thread

Why would anyone move it close to the fire anyway?

Also:
The fog outside it really bright, but the room is really dark. That doesn't make sense. The room needs to be brigther, or the fog darker
