Making a statue dissapear

Hey, I'm trying to figure out how to make a statue object dissapear/poof.
I'm using the "deformed_man" statue

What kind of function would I use for this?
If possible I'd like to have a smoke effect left behind when it dissapears Smile

as for the smoke effect you'll need a ps.
