They're already in the final testing phases, there's no reason to not give us release date by now. We've been waiting WAY too long for this game and had too many delays and push backs. Angry

It's called marketing.

Um, no. It's called post-production.

Sorry, but I disagree with you. The game is finished already, now they're waiting for enough people that will buy it on the release date.

No the game isn't exactly finished yet. Judging from the news I've seen the game is finished as a whole, but is now entering final phases of bug-fixing, and polishing.

Yeah, but do you really believe that news?

I hope we're going to hear some very good ambient soundtracks in AAMFP Smile Imo, Mikko (that's his name right?) did an excellent job in Amnesia.

I cannot prove that they are not lying, but I choose to put my faith in them, and that's enough for me.

If you choose to do so, I respect that.

Nay, I don't think so. It would only make sense if there was another big horror game coming out at the same time, which they don't want to compete with, but that's not the case. So why wait without reason? Every day they wait is another day they have to pay their employees without getting money in return - and they aren't a huge, rich publisher who can afford that. Thus, I'm very, very sure it is not a business decision to delay it, but there's simply still work to do.

Have you never heard of the saying that the last 10% of a project take 50% of the time? That's exaggerated, of course, but still there's truth in it. Polishing all those little bugs and weirdnesses that pile up during game development often takes more time than anticipated.

Its true, it will take a long time. Can't see it being later than July though.

Am I the only one that doesn't flip shit when it's pushed back? I can wait for the game if it means a better product...

This is also why you should never set a release date for anything unless you are ABSOLUTELY 110% positive it's coming out that day. If it comes Q4, I don't mind. I'm not in a rush to play it. I've been too busy playing TF2...
