The second unannounced project showed up while the ARG was still going on.
The second unannounced project is that with HPL3 engine, Frictional is working on for a long while and it should be released next year. This was the first unannounced game since Amnesia was released. But now, the other Amnesia should be ready before this and so it's the second unannounced project, we don't have any information about this game.
But they said "it will not be a main horror game, but a game with horror."
When wou want so, Penumbra wasn't a main horror game too, compared the stories with Amnesia.
This is just the adventure thing they mentioned.
Hope they do a scary game again and not something like walking and reading.
"The year is 1899. Wealthy industrialist Oswald Mandus has returned home from a disastrous expedition to Mexico, which has ended in tragedy. Wracked by fever, haunted by dreams of a dark machine, he recovers consciousness in his own bed, with no idea of how much time has passed since his last memory. As he struggles to his feet, somewhere beneath him, a engine splutters, coughs, roars into life..."
This one will defenetely have horror.
"a engine splutters" ... "a" haha.. a..

There is no reason to release it this year. Please work fine, make the game longer, free of bugs, implement all your ideas, don't say it must be ready in november this year.
It's the quality of the game what is important, not how short the development time is.
Please do all fine-tuning, and release it when the game is as it should be, don't cut off great stuff, we all have time to wait for it.
Couldn't agree more. I can't stand how people complain when a game gets delayed or is released after the original estimate. Really? You're gonna complain that a company is making the product that you're paying for better? So yeah let's hope that Fall of this year was a generous estimate and that they're not just rushing to get it done by then but taking their time and polishing it for a bit after it's 'complete'. Best to have a game that you can play on Day 1 instead of what most companies do and release an unfinished product that you get frustrated over having to let it sit there while you wait for a patch (Staring RIGHT AT YOU Arkham City's DX11 mode!).
I don't get it, why are people bashing on the news about changed gameplay? If you want Amnesia then play Amnesia. Let the devs do their job and don't ever think you're entitled to demanding changes in any of their games, because it's not your property, it's Frictional's and Thechineserooms' game not yours. If you don't like it, then don't buy it.
It seems people are so anti-innovative these days.
True. Plus they would only change it if they had something better in mind. They wouldn't ruin the formula. So, any change that they feel will improve the game I'm 100% for.

You said it like Dear Esther was a bad game.
That's if you even go as far as call it a game.
Well, you always can have your Dead Space :3
