Just wow if this true.
$300,000 is a lot of money. Note that "Depth" also appeared as the name used in some early HPL3 demos on the FG blog btw. I think it was once the codename for SOMA.
I think 300k for all of them. Not for Depth.
So we're really expecting the next teaser vid at the end of 2014?
Wow.
Doesn't that leave them with four more to cram into 2015, before the game is actually released?
EDIT: Although it might not make much sense (with the 'Mockingbird' and 'Vivarium' being listed), but what if Depth is the code-name for ALL of the teasers, and the budget is $300 000, 14th of December 2014 being the time that the last one is released.
So all 7 will be released by Dec 2014... just speculation.
Hey guys. This might be offtopic but I just saw the new Godzilla film's "
viral" website and I thought their way of releasing clips was very similar to a certain game's initial teaser site. Just thought I'd share.
Looks like a direct reference to S.O.M.A. / F.E.A.R. to me. Strange, didn't expect them to make such a thing for a film.
If it is, then it is great they look upon S.O.M.A. for inspiration.
Frictional Games uploaded a new video on the HPL3 editor to showcase colour picking!
That is pretty darn cool. Let's start dissecting this.
Omfg color picking? Finally! I was so sick and tired of having to write all those RGB values one at a time! A really helpful tool for any modders!
Why is this being posted in SOMA news?
(thanks for useless email notification)

Because SOMA uses HPL3 which now we know it includes a new color picking tool. Why not?
