Doesn't exactly look friendly to me. Is this really an ingame screenshot? Personally it reminds me of the leeches from System Shock 2, where they transformed humans into hybrid alien zombie monsters.
I'm guessing this sentient AI thing, or whatever the heck it is, corrupts people with cords and shit and turns them into cyborg zombies.
Also a bit of the las plagas from Resident Evil 4 and onwards.
Judging by the aliasing (hello HPL3, it is 2014 kinda?) - it is a screendshot/

I don't recall seeing these pictures of SOMA before. (I might be wrong)

Looks like just about everything we saw in the gameplay teaser.
Yea I know, I meant that I have never seen the pictures before

We will have in the final release, just not had it as a prio yet. So no worries!

Awesome. Even without AA it looks fantastic. At least to me.

Nice.
I sure do hope it won't be blurry edge-AA but full-fledged MSAA (and may be vendor-specific SMLAA/TXAA) :3
I hope that also. Surely AA is no main prior thing, but always nice to have.
Does SOMA support 4K resolutions? Or does already Amnesia support that?
I think AA will greatly improve the visuals of the game! Will be so nice to see that in play. I was going to ask about colored speculars, but managed to find that with a google search:

Colored speculars for the new game, yay
Also reading from the post, they use deferred rending which
can cause problems with MSAA. SMAA chosen maybe? Frictional does seem to like optimized things.
